Notice of Kilroy Cup 2008
The Kilroy Cup will be fished on 15th March 2008 from 11.00am to 5.30pm. The
prizes will be for the heaviest fish and a limit of two fish per angler
will be enforced. Entry fee will be €20 on the day and there
will be good prizes on offer. There will be prizes available for
anglers under 18 and entry fee for under 18 is free. All participants
are expected to wear life jackets or buoyancy aids while fishing the competition.
The annual subscription for 2008 has been set at €30 for adults and €5
for youth anglers. If you have not got your subscription at the AGM
you can get it at the competition. Alternatively you can post it
to me at the above address or send it to the Treasurer, Mr Thomas Lynch
at Omard Kilnaleck.
This will be our first competition of the year so please support it. Good
luck on the day and best wishes for the coming season.
Final Reminder. The Ulster is being held this year on Lough Melvin and will go out from Garrison. The competition is being held on Saturday the 7th June 2008 and fishing is from 11am to 6pm. Size limit for fish caught on the day will be 11 inches, (no Gillaroos). Entry is £45 (€60) if you provide a boat and engine and £60.00 (€80) if you do not provide a boat and engine. Please let me have entries before the 10th April 2008. All anglers who wish to fish the Ulster note the closing date and have entries to me in good time, as there will be no more reminders.
Notice Of Annual General Meeting.
The 2007 annual general meeting of the Lough Sheelin Trout Protection Association will be held in the Pub Kilnaleck on Sunday 9th March 2008 at 3.00pm. The agenda is as follows.
